Does NandStore sell products? Where do I buy?

No. NandStore doesn’t sell, ship, store or handle any products, orders, payments or returns. We write guides and link to products on Amazon. When you buy, you buy from Amazon, and Amazon’s terms, prices, shipping and returns apply.

I have a problem with an order. Who should I contact?

Contact Amazon. Every purchase happens on Amazon, and NandStore doesn’t handle orders, payments, shipping or returns. Start from Your Orders on Amazon to get help with a purchase.

Why don’t you show prices?

Prices change, so we never list them in our guides. Product buttons say Check price on Amazon and take you to the product on Amazon, where you’ll see the current price.

How do affiliate links work? Do they cost me more?

As an Amazon Associate, NandStore earns from qualifying purchases. If you buy through one of our Amazon links, we may earn a commission. Using our links doesn’t add anything to the price you pay. Every article shows an affiliate disclosure, and our Affiliate Disclosure page has the details.

Do you test the products you recommend?

We don’t claim to. Our guides are research-based: we compare manufacturer specs, compatibility lists, manufacturer documentation and what established reviewers report. Check the product listing on Amazon before you buy.

How do you choose which products to cover?

We start with what suits renters: no drilling, no rewiring, and easy to take with you when you move. Then we compare manufacturer specs, compatibility lists, manufacturer documentation and what established reviewers report.

Can I use these devices in a rental?

Our guides focus on devices that need no drilling or rewiring and move with you. Your lease still sets the rules, so read it and ask your landlord before changing anything fixed, like a light switch. This is general guidance, not legal advice. See Smart Bulbs vs Smart Switches for Renters.

Do I need a smart home hub?

It depends on the device. Many smart plugs and bulbs connect over Wi-Fi and work with an app, Alexa or Google Home, while some devices need a hub. Check the product’s compatibility list before you buy. To see what setup looks like, read How to Set Up a Smart Plug with Alexa or Google Home.

What is Matter?

Matter is a shared smart home standard that lets compatible devices work across platforms such as Alexa, Google Home and Apple Home.

Where should I start?

Start with The Renter’s Guide to a Smart Home. From there, browse Smart Plugs, Smart Lighting, Cameras & Doorbells, Alexa vs Google and Setup Guides.

How do I request a guide or report a mistake?

Email contact@nandstore.com or use our contact page. For a correction, include the page link and what looks wrong. For a guide request, tell us the device or question you’d like covered.

Do you collect data about me?

Yes, some. Google Analytics 4 (via Google Site Kit) uses cookies to record usage such as pages viewed and device type, and our host keeps server logs for security.
