Last updated October 23, 2026

Effective date: October 23, 2026. This policy explains what information NandStore collects when you visit nandstore.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We’ve kept it in plain language.

The short version
  • We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used. It sets cookies, and you can opt out.
  • If you use our contact form, we get your name, email and message so we can reply.
  • Our Amazon links are affiliate links. After you click one, Amazon may set cookies to credit us for qualifying purchases.
  • Comments and user registration are closed, and there’s no newsletter right now.
  • We don’t sell your personal information.

Who are we?

NandStore (nandstore.com) publishes smart home guides for renters. The site is owned and run by Tuan Duong. You can reach us at contact@nandstore.com or by mail at 100 Stockton St, PO 140, Chelsea, MA 02150.

What information do we collect, and why?

We aim to collect as little as possible. Here’s what reaches us, or the services we use, and what it’s for.

  • Usage data (Google Analytics 4, via Google Site Kit): pages you view, your device, your approximate location and the site that sent you here. We use it to see which guides help and what to improve. Google handles IP addresses under its own policies.
  • Emails you send us: your email address and whatever you write. We use them only to reply.
  • Server logs (Hostinger): your IP address and browser details (user agent). Our web host keeps these for security.
  • WooCommerce session cookie: the WooCommerce plugin is installed, but we don’t run a shop or checkout. It may still set a session cookie in your browser.

Other tools on the site

  • Google Search Console (via Google Site Kit): shows us how our pages appear in Google Search results.
  • Rank Math SEO: a WordPress plugin that helps search engines read our pages, such as page titles and descriptions.
  • Share links: buttons that link to Facebook, X, Pinterest and LinkedIn. If you click one, you go to that service, and its privacy policy applies.
What we don't collect

Comments and user registration are closed, and we don’t run a newsletter right now. So we don’t collect information through any of those.

Which cookies may be set when you use NandStore?

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Here’s who may set them when you use NandStore, and why.

Cookie sourcePurpose
Google Analytics 4 (via Google Site Kit)Measures how the site is used, such as pages viewed, device, approximate location and the referring site.
Amazon (on amazon.com, after you click one of our affiliate links)Lets Amazon know the visit came from NandStore, so qualifying purchases can be credited to us.
WooCommerceMay set a session cookie. We don’t run a shop or checkout on the site.
Facebook, X, Pinterest or LinkedIn (only if you click a share link)May be set by that service on its own site, under its own privacy policy.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can still read our guides if you do.

As an Amazon Associate, NandStore earns from qualifying purchases. Links and buttons such as “Check price on Amazon” are affiliate links that take you to amazon.com.

When you click one, Amazon may set or read cookies in your browser so it knows the visit came from us. On Amazon’s site, Amazon may also collect information from you directly. Anything you buy is handled by Amazon, under Amazon’s own terms and privacy notice.

We don’t sell or handle any products ourselves. Our affiliate disclosure has more details.

How can you opt out of analytics?

  • Google Analytics opt-out add-on: Google offers a free browser add-on designed to stop Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits.
  • Browser settings: block or delete cookies, or block third-party cookies.
  • Private window: cookies set during a private window are usually cleared when you close it.
Opting out doesn't lock you out

You can still read every guide on NandStore with analytics blocked.

How long do we keep your information?

We aim to keep personal information only as long as we need it for the reasons in this policy, or as long as the law requires.

  • Contact form messages: kept in our email for as long as we need them to reply and follow up. Ask us if you’d like yours deleted.
  • Google Analytics data: kept by Google according to the data-retention setting we chose in Google Analytics and Google’s own policies.
  • Server logs: kept by Hostinger for security, under Hostinger’s own retention practices.
  • Cookies: stay in your browser until they expire or you delete them.

Who do we share information with?

We share information with the service providers that help run the site, and with other services only when you choose to go to them:

  • Google: Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console, connected through Google Site Kit.
  • Hostinger: our web host, which stores the site and keeps server logs.
  • Amazon: only when you click an affiliate link and go to amazon.com.
  • Facebook, X, Pinterest or LinkedIn: only when you click a share link and go to that service.

We may also share information if we’re required to by law. We don’t sell your personal information.

What choices and rights do you have?

You can read every guide without using the contact form. You can also block cookies or opt out of Google Analytics as described above.

Depending on the U.S. state you live in, privacy laws may give you the right to ask what personal information we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Some laws also let you opt out of the sale of personal information, though we don’t sell it.

To make a request, email contact@nandstore.com. We may need to confirm it’s you before we act, and we won’t treat you differently for asking.

Is NandStore meant for children?

No. NandStore isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has sent us information through the contact form, email us and we’ll delete it.

Will this policy change?

We may update this policy when the site or the tools we use change. When we do, we’ll post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top.
